Matilda

When I got home from school today, this is what I saw...

Matilda loves to sleep in this little spot, on the neighbor's fireplace. I tried to sneak up on her, to get a picture of her all curled up.

She saw me though, and came down for a nice petting. She's a sweet girl, even if she does HATE Maya.

I went to the rally today, before the school board meeting. It was a HUGE turn out! Much better than last month's board meeting. Today was "Day of the Teacher," and the union decided today would be a great day to rally. Negotiations are still going on, and we still do not know what will happen in the Fall. I was very pleased with the teachers and parents and students that showed up in support of education.
