25 Things-Day 7

I absolutely LOVE San Francisco at Christmas time!  It's so pretty.  Lights, huge decorations, the hustle and bustle of holiday shoppers (I don't like the rude ones though).  Kevin and I took the boys into the city yesterday.  It was a beautiful day.  This is going to be a 2 day post, cuz I love the city so much-just sayin'.

Macy's in Union Square.  This Macy's has two stores.  This one houses the women's merchandise, and housewares.  Across the street is the men's Macy's.

Every year Macy's has adoptable pets in their window displays.  All of the animals seemed to be asleep.  These two kitties were so cute, and check out their digs!  I love the gnome.

25 Things-Day 6

I love a nativity scene.

Here's ours.  It's Playmobil.  I had it all arranged real cute, and then each boy came in and moved things around. When they went to bed, I "mom-fixed" it.

You can't leave out Santa Clause!!  He didn't come with the set.  We had to buy him separate.

25 Things-Day 5

Every year we try to ride the Christmas Train.  This year, we rode it from Niles (a district in Fremont) to Sunol.  In the past, we've done the reverse.  It's always lots of fun, but it's always really cold-well by California standards anyway! We load up with really tasty hot chocolate, and we are good to go! Santa even appears, and passes out candy canes.

In addition to the train ride, we got to ride a retro bus to the station.  On our way back to the car, we sat at the back.  Three happy, bundled up boys.

25 Things I Love About Christmas-Day 1

Today marks the beginning of my big blog project, 25 Things I Love About Christmas.  I love Christmas!!!  I especially love giant displays of Christmas decorations in public places.

 

Look at that tree!  I found this tree at the Fashion Show Mall in Vegas.

Giant presents.  It looks like ice, but it's all made of mirrors, with glass ribbons.  This is in Bellagio, in their shopping area.
