Reno Day 2

So today was the BIG day. It's the day Apple started selling the iPad. When the date was announced, Kevin realized we were going to be in Reno, so he decided to reserve his iPad at the Reno Apple Store. It was so much fun, and not really crazy-not like New York, or even the Bay Area stores. It was nice and orderly, and the Apple Store provided free coffee, water and donuts. Cool!
We arrived at the store at 8:15 am, and got in line. There were two lines, one for reserved iPads, and one for people hoping to purchase one. The store opened at 9:00 am. We waited in line, chatting with people, and relieved it didn't rain or snow.
Here's the nice, calm line. There were probably about 25 people in front of us.
At 9:00, the door opened to cheers, and out came all of the Apple Store employees. There were a few minutes of cheering and high fives, and then they went back inside.
This Apple employee is holding up the new iPad.

Here's Kevin, with his. We spent about an hour in the store. I left at 10, to go to Dillard's, but the boys and Kevin stayed.

After the iPad fun, we went to Stein Mart, and then had lunch, before we headed to the snow! Keep reading for Part 2 of our day.
