Home

We woke up this morning to this...
Snow covered everything! It was beautiful, but I was a bit nervous about driving home. We decided to leave a little later than planned, to hopefully avoid the horrible road conditions on I80.
That's my car in the front, the red one. Look at the old fashioned one back there. I think the squareness of the car helped it to not get covered with all kinds of snow.
On our drive home this morning. It was horrible. It snowed. It was windy. It was splashy wet. It hailed. It snowed some more. It rained. The big rigs were about 100 deep, waiting for the scales. There was lots of traffic. BUT, it was beautiful.
We stopped at Nut Tree in Vacaville. Nut Tree used to be a restaurant, but it was torn down, and then a shopping area and kiddie area was constructed. It was pretty cool. The boys had fun with the giant chess set.

My car is filthy from the snow.

On the agenda tomorrow: Car wash. Honda dealership to get a new key for my car-I have to open the doors old school, because my clicker isn't working. Grocery store.

Hi Julie! Glad you made it home safely...did I ever tell you that Jeff's grandmother used to work at the Nut Tree? She was a candy maker there! Funny huh?
