He Blinded Me With Science

Typical Saturday. Baseball, and errands. We did go to lunch with Kevin's Mom and Dad, for Mother's Day. We went to Elephant Bar. They have the best sweet potato fries. Yum yum! We also had Riley collect the research for his science project.
Last night, Riley and Kevin baked chocolate chip cookies. They divided the batter into 3 parts and then colored each part a different color. They made red, blue and green cookies. Aren't they pretty?
Riley took the cookies to the baseball field this morning, for Quinn's game. He set up a table and advertised "Free Cookies." He offered people a cookie. They could have only one, of the three, on the plate. He then kept track of which color people chose. His science project is about whether or not color affects food preference. He also had a category for those who refused a cookie-and people did refuse a cookie.
Here he is at his "station," ready to work.
Choices, choices. What will it be? Red? Green? Blue?

Is she going for green? Hmmmm. It was a pretty productive day for him. He gave away almost all of his cookies, polling over 50 people. He then came home, and wrote up his rough draft.

Word of the Day: Beautiful! Did you see how beautiful it was today? It's beginning to look a lot like summer!! It was in the 80's. Of course, it cooled down pretty quickly outside, but still, it's a glimpse of good weather to come, and of SUMMER!
